I build software for businesses that do hands-on work. Rather than off-the-shelf tools bent to fit, each one started as the answer to one business's problem.
Endeavor started at a summer camp in northern Minnesota. The camp needed a way to manage dozens of wilderness trips simultaneously, and nothing on the market quite fit how they operated, so I built it. A Minneapolis-area remodeling company needed the same.
That's the pattern: get close to a business, learn it well, build something that earns its place.
